Why Should You Choose HeatherStanton.com?
Over the years we have really begun to see the market change. From listing books that only real estate brokers had access to, to the internet. It has become an agent’s best and worst nightmare. The information that was only privy to the industry has become public knowledge thus making our jobs a whole lot easier. Consumers are now being educated via the internet and are beginning to understand the in’s and outs of the real estate industry. Market trends are posted, property values and comparisons are posted, and current homes for sale are posted. Education is readily available at the push of a button. Granted, the negotiating skills, knowledge of particular markets and contract to closing experience is most definitely needed, much of our legwork is being done by you, the Consumer. This, HeatherStanton.com believes, should be recognized.
The Jig is up!
Alright, so here’s where the GENIUS finally comes in. You know how when you begin a new job the corporation has policies and procedures that you must follow… same goes with the real estate industry. We call it “Drinking the Kool-Aid”. We have to go to classes that tell us why we charge such high commissions. Classes that justify the public’s need for real estate agents. Endless classes for our justification, just said 100 different ways, but in the end gives us the exact same message!
So… we spit the “Kool-Aid” out and began to see the light! Consumers deserve options. In a time where technology is readily available and always evolving in to something new and better, so should we.
HeatherStanton.com was born!!!
You Want Proof?
We agree that knowledge is power. We agree that you need a real estate agent to represent and walk you through current market trends, pricing your home fairly, negotiations, and contract to closing. What we don’t agree with is charging you high commissions for these activities.

- According to the National Associations of Realtors, 94% of homes are sold by Real Estate Agents. (This just says, YOU NEED ONE!)
·
BUT….only 6% of the time did the agent that listed your home actually sell it. .

This graph (again from the National Association of realtors) shows you what techniques work when selling your home. If you notice a vast majority is through, the Multiple Listing Services (used primarily by agents), Internet (realtor.com’s, zillow, craigslist, etc.), and signage.
- HeatherStanton.com has decided the odds are in your favor by using the techniques with the highest percentages to sell your home. Thus, we created the menu of services so you can choose how to play the odds.
